How to get there

Jena's local transport system covers the entire city, so you can get around easily. Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines at almost all stops. However, it is even more convenient to use the Fairtiq app, where you can find connections and purchase tickets directly.

In order to get to Leibniz IPHT you can use bus lines 10, 11, 12, which depart from the “Teichgraben” stop in the city centre, and get off at the “Beutenberg Campus” stop. From there, walk approximately 500 m to Leibniz IPHT. Please use the campus map for orientation. Leibniz IPHT is building no. 4.

Please note that there is currently a construction site on Albert-Einstein-Straße. Although the map shows a no-entry sign in this area, pedestrian access along the side of Albert-Einstein-Straße to building no. 4 and the main entrance is still possible. Nevertheless, we recommend following the green-marked route on the map: from A2, take the stairs down, pass the bicycle stands, and continue to the main entrance of Leibniz IPHT.
