DNA Nanotechnology took place from May 7 – 9, 2026 at Leibniz IPHT/Jena.

Thanks to all participants for your commitment, for the interesting insights into their research, the discussions, and the professional exchange.

DNA Nanotechnology 2028

DNA represents a promising source for the realization of new and unique functional units and materials with novel properties, which will be the main theme for this meeting. Especially the emergence of novel DNA superstructures and their potential for new functionalities with unprecedented lateral as well as molecular resolution will be discussed, as well as approaches for integration and upscaling.

Program

The DNA Nanotechnology Conference will take place from May 11–13, 2028. A pre-conference workshop will be held on May 11, and conference participants are cordially invited to attend the get-together. The scientific program will follow on May 12 and 13, featuring invited talks, short talks, and posters. You are cordially invited to actively participate in the program by submitting an abstract.

Social Program

On Thursday, May 12, all participants are cordially invited to gather for an evening get-together. The location will be announced in due course. On Friday evening, there will be a barbecue at the institute. Let's end the evening together in a pleasant atmosphere with good conversation.


Get-Together

We warmly invite you to a Get-Together on the first evening of the conference to the histrorical merket square of Jena. Del.Corazón is a unique concept store right in the heart of Jena’s Old Town. You are cordially invited to participate actively in the program, either with a short presentation or a poster contribution. All posters will be briefly presented in a poster pitch session, followed by the poster session in the exhibition. Abstracts can be submitted during the registration process.

Your room will be available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you plan to arrive after 8:00 p.m., please inform the hotel.
After confirmation, guests may cancel free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival. In the event of cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival, the guest shall pay 50% of the total price; in the event of cancellation on the day of arrival, 95% of the total price shall be charged. In the event of a no-show, the guest shall be charged the total price of the booking.
