DNA represents a promising source for the realization of new and unique functional units and materials with novel properties, which will be the main theme for this meeting. Especially the emergence of novel DNA superstructures and their potential for new functionalities with unprecedented lateral as well as molecular resolution will be discussed, as well as approaches for integration and upscaling.
There will be a pre-meeting workshop „DNA Mitteldeutschland“ starting noon May 23. The meeting will start with a get-together Thursday May 23 at 7 pm, and end at Saturday May 25 noon.
Registration will open Januar 2024.
Abstract submission deadline will be March 1, 2024.

At the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (Leibniz IPHT) in Jena, scientists use light to find solutions to questions and urgent problems in the fields of health, environment, medicine and safety. Under the motto “Photonics for Life”, they research light-based technologies that make our lives safer, healthier and cleaner. Especially in the field of optical health technologies, Leibniz IPHT, in cooperation with partners from research and industry, is specifically promoting translation: the transfer of research results into applicable solutions – from Ideas to Instruments. » IPHT Website
